California Underground

Its Tuesday, so we should all be celebrating with tacos and tequila.  And where is the best place to celebrate? California Underground.


This place is taco heaven. From their special Eo's tacos, to their Americano tacos, and they even have a bun taco. Yes a bun taco is on a hamburger bun... Out of all of the choices my favorite are Eo's tacos.

I have made it a goal of mine to try everything on their menu. Including their intensely hot mango habanero salsa... Which I did try on my last visit on a shrimp Eo's taco. I had tears strolling down my face into the second bite.  It took me around 15 minutes to finish the whole taco because I had to take two bites at a time in five minute intervals with a few chips to cool my mouth down.  It was still an amazing taco full of flavor. The steak taco I got I ordered with their Poblano avocado ranch sauce which I wish I could bathe in, its that good. I devoured this taco in roughly 30 seconds.


And what is a taco without a margarita? If you're feeling adventurous try out their jalapeño  infused margarita. If you are a margarita lover like I am you will love this. It has a subtle taste but it is goes so well with their tacos.

They have a great crowd of people who come in and out. Most people seem to stay for a few rounds of tacos and drinks so its never too over crowded so you can easily find a place to sit and chow down. Over all I would rate them 9/10.
