Sushirittos - Pokéworks

Millennial's have taken sushi and given it an upgrade!

Pokéworks started in Hawaii with the concept of Pokébowls which included raw fish (with other options like tofu and chicken) mixed together with other components used in different sushi rolls. The trend became popular once it hit New York and Sushirittos showed up on buzzfeed and all over social media. Since its debut there have been many copycats and the brand has been franchised. Now this trend has reached the Boston area!
Don't worry if you don't like every thing that goes into a sushi roll or feel like things are missing. Pokéworks is set up in an assembly line style where you pick your ingredients as you go. But if you don't like that pressure they also have a small menu to choose from. These are all your ingredient options:

In my sushiritto (in the picture at the top) I chose: ahi tuna, salmon, cucumbers, siracha aioli, avocados (with an extra charge) and sesame seeds. The seating may seem limited at first, but generally people are in and out so by the time your ready there should be a seat. If there isn't, Davis Square has plenty of places to sit and enjoy the weather with your food.
